Science Night
Thank you to all the families that attended Science Night last Thursday! Students put forth a great deal of time and effort into their projects and it showed. There were many wonderful and interesting projects on display. Six of these projects will be selected to represent our school at the District Science Fair in January.Marine Science Field Trip
Our class will be taking a field trip on Tuesday, November 29th to the Marine Science Education Center. Please return permission slips this week. Also, make sure your child/student brings a jacket/sweatshirt. Conditions at the beach can be a lot different than inland. Watch the news about weather conditions a day or two prior.
Earth in Space and Time
We are starting a new unit in science covering Earth, Space and Time. We started last week by identifying some basic components of our galaxy. The next two days we will study the various characteristics of the inner and outer planets of our solar system.
In addition, students will continue to present their science projects in class, (as this takes more than a day or two).
